The Oshkosh Half Marathon will take place Sunday, April 28 at 7 a.m. Last year’s race had over 1800 participants running through the streets of Oshkosh, and the 15th annual event is expected to grow even more.
This year’s event, which will start and finish at the Leach Amphitheatre, will include the half marathon, relay and 5k, all with 7 a.m. start times.
The Leach will also host the FREE Kid’s Run for 2 to-7 year-old on Sunday, April 28 at 8:30 a.m..
Proceeds from the weekend of events will benefit the local charities and athletic programs. To date, the event has raised over $210, 000.
“This event has become a fitness icon in this community. We do not have a half marathon like this one in the Oshkosh area,” claims Community Director, Gloria West. For more information contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
